Use a Computer

The library has public computers with Internet access and free wireless when you bring your own laptop. This describes what we have and how to use them.
  • 4 patron computers are available, card catalog will serve as patron computer when others are busy
  • Computer have Windows 2000 and have high-speed Internet
  • There is a scanner available
  • CDs may be purchased directly from the library
  • Printing is allowed, 20 cents a page, 50 cents for pages with pictures, black and white printer only
  • Patron has access for 1 hour a day, four times a week
  • Computers may be reserved longer for research or special testing
  • Computers are on a first-come, first-serve basis or reserved for a specific time frame
  • Patron must be at least 18 years old to have full Internet access
  • Children under 18 may use the computer without Internet access
  • Patron must be in good standing at the library, no overdues or fine 
  • Parental permission is required for Internet access for anyone under 18 years of age.  Parent or guardian must come to the library to sign a permission slip in person.  The permission expires after one year and will need the parent to return to sign a renewal permission slip.
